The 2010 release, Long Overdue, is a seven song cacophony of styles from straight-ahead rock to odd meter madness. The opening track, Born to Follow, was featured in Guitar World Magazine. "Born to Follow kicks in and it's a fantastic Rob Zombie meets Metallica meets Pantera rock anthem." - Insite Magazine.
A 2011 single prompted the self-produced music video featuring a funky Exotic cat named Mr. Peanut.
The band's sophomore effort, Lifeblood, covers a wide range of musical territory offering everything from a progressive rock instrumental to a piano prelude and most things in between. "Great record… really love the evolution of AGR!" - San Antonio Examiner
Frontman/guitarist Skunk Manhattan and bassist Chef both endorse and play signature Tregan Guitars and have been featured in publications including Guitar World, Guitar Player and Bass Player Magazine. "Unpredictable, Intense, Entertaining, Memorable, and Different are a few terms fans and critics alike have used to describe A Good Rogering. “I thought the music scene was over when Michael Jackson died… and then Bam! A Good Rogering has restored my faith in black men turned white, playing music.”

Best known as the audacious bassist of classic funk act Cameo, has inspired a generation of groovy musicians some of whom he now works with (OutKast, Gwen Stafani, Cee-Lo), but his long time love affair with jazz was the inspiration for the Aaron Mills Project. Meeting [ trumpeter ] Donald Byrd of the Blackbyrds back in his college days was an inspiration for Aaron. He did some recordings with Byrd, then Byrd produced a group Aaron had formed called New Central Connection Unlimited - recorded on UA label, and Byrd also gave NCCU the opportunity to tour with the Blackbyrds. Sometime after the break up of NCCU there comes a call, and it's [Cameo front man] Larry Blackmon. He said, "Look Aaron, I need a bass player. Can you come and play?"
