Tregan Guitars Now Shipping the New SyrenXT Guitar
The SyrenXT is the second generation Syren by Tregan Guitars. By combining the best of the signature and standard series Syrens,
with suggestions from professional players and customers, the XT is truly an instrument for the player.
The new bold look of the XT features a two tone paint job, Floyd Rose licensed tremolo, Grover tuners, black hardware and a more comfortable tapered back.
A Passive/Active switch, along with the built in powered Preamp, offers great flexibility when playing. In passive mode the alnico humbuckers give you smooth
tones for strumming to your favorite songs. The active mode adds more bite and enhances tone and harmonics, turning the XT into a shredding machine.
Like the rest of the Syren series, the XT is a guitar to behold, and to be held. It has Tregan's super fast neck with twenty-four frets, Syren Wing inlays and deep cutouts for easy access to all twenty-four frets. The smaller headstock and the unique body shape were designed to give the guitar a comfortable feel and perfect balance.

So Cal guitartist Ronny is fast becoming a local Southern California Guitar Hero.He plays his own signature brand of instrumental guitar rock.He regularly opens for national acts throughout Southern California and even opened for Yngwie..He also managed to play and record with a few other
big name players as well such as Rikki Rocket, Eric Singer, CC Deville to name a few.Ronny also gets airplay,press and sells CD's in Japan,Europe and in the U.S. .If that wasn't enough the music from Ronny's CD "Smeared" was licensed by MTV and was used for their Real World reality show.

Flash Bathory 1989 - 2008
You Will be Missed
When a music community, such as Austin, loses a friend, the world loses as well. Flash Bathory was one of these friends.
Destined for greatness, Flash was one of the rare artists that could draw crowds wherever she played. In ’02, ’03 and ’06 she hit the road for Warped Tour.
At 18 Flash completed her first EP “Scars and Bruises.” Flash’s greatness was recognized and endorsed by many great companies such as AXL, Coffin
Case, Luna Guitars, Minarik Guitars and of course Tregan Guitars. Recently, Flash was picked by Guitar Player Magazine and was featured as an artist to watch.
Sadly, like many great artists, Flash’s life ended too soon. Flash will be remembered not only for her incredible talent but also for her kindness,
love and friendship. We were blessed to have Flash as part of the Tregan Family.
Our hearts go out to all of Flash’s family and friends.
Flash will always be remembered.
A more personal note From Tony Guarriello:
When I first heard the news that Flash passed away last night, I thought someone was playing a really bad practical joke.
Then the reality set in and I didn’t know how to process what I have just heard. My thoughts went to her father,
whom I met on several occasions. I, as the father of three girls, could not imagine what he will be going through;
and my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
My second thoughts were about Flash and what she meant to me and to her friends. Flash was one of the first people
I met when I started my business. She was enthusiastic about my guitars and gave me enthusiasm about moving forward
with my dream. Although I didn't know Flash very long, just over one year, I considered her a good friend,
and I was blessed to have her as part of the Tregan family
After the day has moved on and I have heard from more and more of Flash’s friends, I realized that she touched all
of us in the same way. Flash was a genuine friend to everyone she met.
Flash was a great artist with talent, drive and potential to make it big in the music world. Like many of the Greats,
Flash left us too soon. She will be missed, loved and always remembered by those who had the chance to know her.
I am sure she will be welcomed with open arms to the great guitar jam in the sky. Jimi, Stevie, Duane, Randy, Dimebag... Lookout, the goddess of shred is coming!
