Tony Guarriello on Tregan Guitars

When I set out to create a new guitar line, I wanted to create guitars for the beginner and intermediate player. Guitars that were unmatched for quality at a price that was affordable to the beginner. The designs needed to to be eye popping and unlike anything on the market. They needed to sound great and play with ease. I wanted to encourage and inspire the musician in all of us for a "Life time of Music".

The end result is Tregan Guitars. Inspired by the history of the electric guitars, my designs have some familiar features and some radical twists. Every guitar from the headstock to the rear strap button, was designed for looks, feel and sound. I've added things that you would normally find on much more expensive guitars, like custom inlays, rosewood and Ebony fretboards and custom built necks. Whether you have twenty-two frets or twenty-four, a player should be able to reach them all, so every Tregan guitar has deep cutouts for easy reach to all the frets. When you pick up a Tregan you will notice that it feels right, with good weight and balance. A guitar that is comfortable to play.

With each body design there are two series:

The Standard Series - offers all the necessities a guitarist needs to sound and look good, like a super fast neck with low action and rosewood fretboard, quality tone woods such as mahogany, alder and ash, and hardware like Grover tuners and Wilkinson tremolos.

The Signature Series - adds things like quilted and flame maple tops, Birdseye maple and Ebony fretboards, Mother of pearl inlays and extra pickup options.
